Woofers or dogs to you and me! Thought I’d share some more doggy pictures with you today. They seem to be very popular with clients, who often commission me to do things about animals, just because of my doggy art capers!
Woofers: I work in all sorts of art materials when creating artwork of dogs, from oils, watercolour and inks, through to pencils. All give slightly different results, which is a good thing, because it means I have a range of styles to suit different projects.
Some of the companies that have specifically commissioned me to create illustrations of dogs are Heritage Art Papers and Oxford University Press. For Heritage Art Papers I have produced a range of greetings cards artwork – many have been of dogs. I have also created many sample pieces and some have recently caught the attention of a publisher wanting a picture book. The book is currently being written and so I’m waiting to hear back from them at the moment, but it sounds like a really fun project.
