Drawing waves
Today I thought I would share one of my tutorial videos on drawing waves, which apparently is a search keyword which is googled quite a lot! This step-by-step video tutorial should help you improve your drawing technique!
Drawing waves: I did the video for videojug.com, which is a great site for improving your skills in areas you wouldn’t even think of! I had to go up to their studio in central London to do this and was up there filming twenty videos for most of that day, which was great fun! Having never done anything like this before I didn’t really know what to expect and so did a great deal of planning, which I think helped me a great deal on the day, as everything ran smoothly.
For this video you will need cartridge paper (about A3 in size) a good pencil. eraser, watercolours and plenty of clean water!
I have since produced a video on how to paint waves for them too, but will have to show that to you on another occasion. The beauty of these videos is that you can pause and rewind whenever you want and so can draw along with the video.
I planned the tutorial to be step-by-step in format and so it should be easy to follow and so you’ll have to let me know what you think!
