Disaster
Disaster has struck (queue thunderous sound effects…)
Happily working away on a lovely children’s book I received two disaster ladened emails in a row. Firstly my next client has canceled their project, due directly to the dastardly Covid19. Secondly all monies for my recently completed commissions have been frozen for the same reason (and not in a cuddly Disney Frozen way either)! Feeling a tad chilly here. However, one has to view things in perspective, I am currently well and so feel blessed.

Minus the Celestron attachment for my star gazing binoculars of course (well done to anyone that spotted it). I am a proud member of TAG, the Thanet Astronomy Group and am therefore a bit star struck and love looking at the odd planet and gas nebula too. However my all time favourite is Pleiades (also known as the seven sisters) and two constellations, Cassiopeia and Orion. Cassiopeia is easy peasy to spot, because its a big W or M in the sky (depending on its position) and Orion has a whole gas nebula in it, also called Orion. The image right at the top of this post is the Orion Nebula. So I may do some celestial posts too. It all rather depends on what is the most successful! Oh dear, I seem to have digressed somewhat…anyway…
